Quality control is an important aspect needed in the production of concrete. Concrete is constantly changing from day to day based on a numerous amount of variables. Wind speed, water, carbon dioxide, temperature, grade conditions, and finishing techniques are just some of the things that can affect a multitude of outcomes in the final product.

Things that we commonly test are strength, air content, slump, temperatures, and aggregate gradations. We have also produced trial batches to test what type of concrete will best meet the specifications of a given job. The things that we don’t have the means to test are often taken to testing facilities that do. Quality concrete has been and continues to be, one of Norwalk Ready Mix’s utmost priorities.
