The Portland Civic Players is an all-volunteer organization that depends on play income,
memberships, and donations to provide live theater to the Portland community. We
have three categories for donations:
Building Fund: Our building was constructed in 1948 and needs some TLC. We will
be working diligently over the coming years to improve our facility for the safety and
comfort of anyone who comes in. Any donation made here will go to building
improvements that are beyond the scope of our general fund.
Scholarship Fund: In 2019, we started a scholarship fund for high school seniors in
our Summer Theater Youth Program. The Eddy-Bandfield Memorial Scholarship was
instituted to honor two families who have had a very large impact on our organization.
Any donation here will go to help fund this scholarship opportunity.
General Fund: Any donations made here will go to our general fund to be used in any
manner needed within the organization.
