Shows With Kids

Maples Repertory Theatre provides aspiring actors and actresses the opportunity to work with our professional cast every summer! In our combined production, young performers are able to perform alongside and be mentored by our professional company brought in from all over the US. Showing kids “how the pros do it” while still having fun is such an important part of our summer. Previous combined shows have included Puss in Boots, Waking Sleeping Beauty, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and The Princess & The Porcupine.

This year’s combined production will be The Emperor’s New Clothes. Auditions will be held on Saturday, July 7th, 11 am – 2 pm. Please prepare a monologue, story, or joke for the audition. For extra preparation, audition sides are available in the box office for pickup or you can find the PDFs below (just choose your favorite one). We can’t wait to see you there!
